NERDSociety Interviews Voice Actor David Hayter

David Hayter, voice talent and screenwriter for films such as X-Men and Watchmen, has an amusing interview over at NERDSociety. The interview covers his screenwriting, live action, and voiceover work, including his most popular role as Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series of video games.

Apparently, Hayter has been falsely represented on several social networking sites with MySpace or Facebook profiles claiming to be him. This impersonation once caused an issue with fellow voice actor Quinton Flynn, which he discusses in the interview.

Hayter also talks about his career in screenwriting, and that in his script for the live-action X-Men film, he jokes, "If you loved [a particular line], it was Joss’s. If you hated it, it was my fault." He will be making his directorial debut with Slaughter's Road, a werewolf movie, scheduled to be released in 2010.
