With his Daytime Emmy Nomination for playing Tigger in My Friends Tigger and Pooh (the winner will be announced this weekend), and the recent tenth anniversary release of The Tigger Movie on DVD, voice actor Jim Cummings has been getting an awful lot of media attention lately.

The most recent from today is a short video interview with Cummings on the local Los Angeles ABC affiliate, KABC-TV. When asked if he would accept the Daytime Emmy Award in a character's voice if he wins, Cummings told the interviewer in Tigger's voice: "Well that's ridiculous. I would never talk just like a Tigger because I'd have to bounce and stripes wouldn't match with the tux."

Sunday's edition of the Ventura County Star has a rather lengthy feature with him that includes new photos, as well as an older video that had been used in the paper some time ago when Cummings was selling his house. He's anticipating that one of the more well-known celebrities will win the Daytime Emmy Award he's nominated for this year: “I think folks go down the line and go: ‘Jim Cummings? I don’t really know who that is. Oh, Joan Rivers, Vanessa Williams, I love her; let’s vote for her.’ You can’t fight that. I understand why they do it.”

Along with those two features, there was also one from Newsarama on August 11th, another from Hollywood Today on August 7th, and this article from TV Guide Magazine on August 4th.
